the perfect retaliation

A guy was told to remove his (complete) unregistered car from his driveway and was later ordered to remove the three unregistered vehicles from his backyard. He retaliated by taking pictures of one of the town counselor’s driveway and backyard. He brought several blown up high-resolution color glossies of the counselor’s collection of motorhomes in various states of disrepair in his driveway and backyard to a meeting. Charges were abruptly dropped if I recall correctly.

Coolest thing of the day, WW2 beer run, kegs strapped to Spitfire wings, chilled to perfection, then delivered to the troops

An English brewery donates a sizable amount of fresh beer for the troops fighting in Normandy and a unique delivery method is created, strapping kegs to the underwings of Spitfires being shipped to forward airfields. Flying at 12,000 feet chills the brew to perfection. The troops love it, but the British Ministry of Revenue and Excise steps in and informs the brewer that it is in violation of law to export beer without paying taxes on it. End of “authorized” beer runs. June 13, 1944.

Larry Brown put only 8531 miles on his Shelby GT 500, put it in his garage, and died. Not driving cool cars kills you. Just saying. Now, it's up for auction

Factory tires... but replacements from 1970 or 71

the smog stuff alone is worth thousands of dollars to a restoration shop. Everyone threw this junk away, now no one has it for a perfect 1000 point restoration

he left no will, he had no heirs. So... will you step up and give a Cobra Mustang some much needed love?

The Black Jade paint is only lightly covered in dust, while the car itself appears to be nearly in as-delivered condition, including the 428 Cobra Jet engine and four-speed transmission--as well as the 8,531 miles on the odometer.

“As discovered” photos illustrate the time capsule with 40 years of dust and what appears to be the production line tires, belts, hoses, factory steering wheel cover and even the 1968 date coded spark plug wires. The PA state inspection sticker on the windshield expired in January 1973. From our initial inspection, the car appears to be extraordinarily original and complete less the smog system, heat shield, s-tube, snorkel and original sifter assembly.

An experimental Batpod inspired vehicle with Alltrax AXE 4844 controller running Mars ME0709 electric motor. This is designed and built specially for my two 10 and 12 year old kids. Battery pack consists of 4 lead-acid car batteries giving maximum of 50 volts and top speed is set to around 60km/h (37mph).
